Also within Camperdown is the South West Healthcare’s Manifold Place Community Health, David Newman Day Centre and the Camperdown Mental Health Service.

Join Our Dynamic Theatre Team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) at our Camperdown Campus!

About the role

Are you a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in your career? We invite you to become a vital part of our Operating Theatre team. As an ANUM, you'll lead the day-to-day management and coordination of our Operating Suite, ensuring seamless patient access and flow.

Position overview

  • Part-time (28.5 hours per fortnight), On-going position
  • Camperdown Campus
  • ANUM Year 1 -2
  • Salary Range: $112,174.40 - $115,949.60 pro rata , plus superannuation

What you bring

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Role models the South West Healthcare values.
  • A minimum of four years post graduate nursing experience within Operating Theatre.
  • Demonstrated excellent clinical assessment skills and evidence of recent advanced nursing care of patients.
  • Demonstrated strong clinical, safety and professional standards within the area of professional application.
  • Demonstrated commitment/evidence of commitment to professional development of self and others.
  • Proven proficiency in both verbal and written communication
  • Proven expertise in decision-making, serving as a role model, problem-solving, and supervising staff
  • A post-graduate qualification in peri-operative nursing is desired
