About us
The Portable Long Service Authority (the Authority) is a self-funded statutory body established to administer the Long Service Benefits Portability Act 2018. The Act, together with the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations 2020 provide a Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme. The Authority plays an important role in allowing workers in the community services, contract cleaning and security industries to build up long service benefits based on time in their industry rather than with a single employer. About the role
Seeking an enthusiastic Team Leader to support the establishment, development and leadership of our new Lodgement team. As team leader you will support the timely and accurate lodgement of quarterly returns to ensure performance measures are met. The role will provide day-to-day supervision and people leadership whilst providing support to the Lodgement Manager in meeting performance targets, promoting continuous improvement and building the strategic direction of the team.
About you
To be successful as the Team Leader Lodgement you will need to possess:
- Demonstrated experience supervising and developing staff to deliver required outputs within defined performance metrics
- Strong initiative in developing best practice solutions and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
- Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, with an ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships to achieve business outcomes
- Ability to provide clear advice on processes and policies, and support staff to understand and apply processes
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy, highly developed analytical skills
- A high level of organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage own tasks and tasks of others in an environment of tight and conflicting deadline
