At South West Healthcare (SWH), we are committed to delivering high quality, consumer centred mental health support across the South West region of Victoria. As a Mental Health Clinician within our specialist Mental Health team at our Camperdown Campus, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive, evidence based support to consumers, families, and carers. Using a trauma informed and recovery oriented approach, you will ensure individuals receive the treatment, care, and assistance they need to achieve their personal recovery goals.

 Position Overview

  • Employment Type: Permanent full-time and part-time positions available (minimum 0.6 FTE).
  • Location: Based in Camperdown, Victoria.
  • Classification: Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3, Occupational Therapist Grade 2, Social Worker Grade 2, or Psychologist Grade 2
  • Salary Range: $88,030 - $106,906 per annum pro rata, plus superannuation

 What You'll Bring

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mental Health Clinician who is committed to delivering high-quality care. The successful candidate will:

  • Provide clinical and non-clinical treatment as part of both short-term and long-term case management.
  • Deliver individualised, person-centred care tailored to the unique needs of individuals with complex mental health conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers, and community supports to promote holistic and coordinated care.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with multidisciplinary teams, healthcare professionals, families, and other key stakeholders.
  • Advocate for consumers, ensuring they have access to essential community resources, programs, and services that support recovery and well-being.

 Qualifications & Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Psychiatric Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with AHPRA, where applicable.
  • Social Workers must be eligible for registration with AASW.
