About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a qualified Accountant with high level financial analysis and evaluation skills to join our Financial Directorate.

The position provides senior supervision, coordination and supports control of finances and resources to enable SWH to achieve its objectives. The position is responsible for providing information and advice, following financial processes and ensuring compliance with all reporting standards and audit requirements, ensuring effective and timely services are provided.

Position overview

  • Full-time (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO, until February 2026
  • Warrnambool Campus
  • Administration Worker Grade 3 – HS3
  • Salary: $74,448.40 - $82,305.60 pro rata, plus superannuation

What you bring

  • Tertiary Qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Business
  • Qualified or studying towards CPA/CA status
  • High level financial, accounting, financial analysis, financial monitoring and economic evaluation skills
  • Experience in reconciliation, journaling and financial reporting
  • Strong ability to prioritise competing tasks enabling effective time management in meeting deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Oracle Financial Software would be advantageous
