Role description

The Senior Clinician Lymphoedema Practitioner position is a clinical leadership role that sits within the Ambulatory Care program.   It is responsible for delivering evidence informed and innovative person-centred therapy with a specific focus on the Lymphoedema program.

The Lymphoedema Practitioner role will coordinate the Lymphoedema program supporting timely access to care, maintaining a clinical caseload and providing education and consultation around Lymphoedema management.  As a Senior clinician role, you will participate in providing discipline-based supervision and support to allied health practitioners, AHA's and students as directed by the relevant Professional Lead's and Program Manager.   

This role is primarily outpatient based but as required may be required to provide services to our inpatient and residential facilities (located across 2 campuses).

About you

1. Tertiary experience in a relevant nursing or allied health profession
2. Relevant discipline membership and AHPRA registration
3. Registration or eligibility for accredited registration with the National Lymphoedema Practioners Register of the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA)
4. Current Driver's licence
