Position Details
The Opportunity:
The Project Manager will oversee the operational planning and delivery of the Parkville Precinct Redevelopment (PPR). With a high level of autonomy, they will manage key project elements, including stakeholder relations, engineering, cost, and compliance. This position will also represent VHBA in negotiating with stakeholders as well as supporting the resolution of complex issues through a process of consultation and negotiation with key stakeholders!
- Support project delivery across design, technical, planning, and compliance to ensure industry best practices and alignment with project goals
- Identify, review, and provide solutions to project risks and issues, translating technical specifications into actionable plans and reports
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, proactively resolving issues and facilitating positive outcomes
We are looking for:
- Ability to understand and translate various technical project disciplines to get the best outcomes for the project
- Deals with concepts and complexity comfortably; uses analytical and conceptual skills to reason through difficulties
- Ability to drive results from previous experience in PPP to ensure project excellence
- Tertiary qualification in Construction, Building, Engineering (or equivalent relevant experience) with Mechanical Engineering experience is highly desirable
