    About the Role

    We are looking for a skilled and organised Volunteer Training Administrator to join our Learning and Development team in the North West Region. In this role, you will help improve the training process for volunteer trainers and assessors. You will streamline the nomination, induction and mentoring processes, ensuring a smooth experience for new and existing trainers while supporting their ongoing professional development

    Please note this is a part-time (0.4 FTE), fixed-term role through to 30th June 2026.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage Learning and Development administrative tasks, prioritising regional needs.
    • Process volunteer training applications, including vetting, induction, mentoring, and progress monitoring.
    • Provide LMS training, support system administration, and manage database tasks.
    • Recruit volunteer trainers, identify training needs, and coordinate with external providers.
    • Build relationships with stakeholders to support trainer development and training opportunities.
    • Prepare and distribute high-quality documents, training materials, and reports.
    • Conduct research, manage data entry, and support assessment and archival administration.
    • Monitor instructor utilisation and address issues as directed by the Lead Learning and Development.
    • Draft correspondence, presentations, and briefing notes to support Learning and Development.
    • Assist with special projects as needed

    About You

    Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following

    • Certificate IV (TAE40116 or above) in training and assessment desirable but not essential and in depth understanding of Registered Training Organisation (RTO) standards and compliance requirements, specifically in relation to trainer and assessor competencies.
    • Analytical skills, including demonstrated ability to scope and implement new learning and development initiatives, processes and systems.
    • Relevant administration skills and experience. Ability to draft standard documents, correspondence and reports to a professional standard.
    • Demonstrated attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to build good working relationships with key stakeholders.
    • A contemporary understanding of competency-based learning & development business practices.
    • Ability to work proactively as a member of a team, with minimal supervision and direction.
    • Excellent computer literacy skills (including MS Office and databases), with knowledge of financial systems an advantage.
