About the role:
As part of the Legal Help leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a team of legal staff including rostered supervision duties, encouraging high performance, responding to inbound and outbound escalated enquiries directly handling complaints and legal compliance matters whilst ensuring the team provides consistent, high quality and efficient legal services in line with Legal Help service guidelines.

You will also be required to work closely with the leadership team to manage stakeholders and improve Legal Help's quality framework, policies and procedures and assist with relevant Legal Help projects as they arise.

This role will suit an experienced lawyer with people management experience, and it does not involve ongoing case work or court advocacy.

About you:
You will have demonstrated leadership and management experience in a high volume and diverse legal service context. In addition, current knowledge and practical experience in a range of family, criminal and/or civil law jurisdictions. You have high-level interpersonal skills, including resilience and the ability to communicate, mentor, consult and collaborate effectively.

You also have demonstrated comprehensive legal diagnostic and problem-solving skills and be well suited to a dynamic team environment. You are confident using various forms of technology, enjoy being innovative, show good initiative and have an interest in legal needs data analysis.
