About the role

Applications are sought for an Advanced Training position for 6 months at South West Healthcare in Warrnambool to complete your core rural training time, commencing August 2025.   The position is a fantastic, truly broad-exposure general paediatric term which is well supported by 4 full time Paediatricians.

The role encompasses caring for children in a 10 bed general paediatric ward and 6 bed special care nursery. You have access to a weekly outpatient clinic and have great supervision by on call paediatrician team. There is also access to regular developmental, behavioural and diabetes clinic presentations with a multi-disciplinary team environment. In addition, you will have access to our dedicated Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team, providing valuable support.
