Health Care Worker
Inglewood & Districts Health Service (IDHS) is situated in the Shire of Loddon and provides services to more than 5,500 residents in the communities of Bridgewater, Inglewood, Korong Vale, Newbridge, Serpentine, Tarnagulla, Wedderburn and surrounding townships.
All IDHS facilities are conveniently located on one site – encompassing urgent care, acute, community and residential aged care.
IDHS also offers a diverse range of services including diabetes education, community and district nursing, counselling, cardiac rehabilitation, planned activity groups, volunteer and strength training programs.

Position Title: Health Care Worker
Classification: IN37 – IN39
Salary range per hour: $28.84 to $33.27 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options
Employment Type: Ongoing full-time OR Ongoing part-time
Award: Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025
Role description
Inglewood Health are seeking applications from Health Care Workers to join their team on an ongoing part time basis.
The primary role of the HCW is to work as a productive member of the care team to provide person centred care. The HCW is expected to provide a competent level of personal care, cleaning and food service for residence and to work within the limitations of their role. The HCW work under the direction and support of the supervising Registered Nurse at all times.
About you
- A nationally accrediated Level III or IV certificate in a related disipline (or equivalent as recondnised by IDHS will be highly regarded.
- Prefered – Medication Unit of Competency
- Experience, or willingness to gain experience, in providing personal care
- Basic assesement and reporting skills
- Understanding of the concept of person-centred care
- Good communcation skills
