Role description
We are seeking a dynamic and flexible Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our team on a leave backfill basis. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of programs within the Continuing Care Directorate, including Allied Health Inpatient, Transition Care Program (TCP), At Home services, Residential Aged Care, and Ambulatory Care.
Based across our Castlemaine and Maldon campuses, as well as in clients' homes within the local community, this position plays a vital role in supporting patient flow and delivering high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy interventions. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, treatment, and care that focuses on restoring function, maintaining independence, and supporting chronic disease self-management and health literacy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering timely, evidence-informed physiotherapy services in acute and sub-acute rehabilitation settings
- Providing preventative care and chronic disease management support
- Offering home, hospital, or centre-based services, including client education and equipment prescription
You'll collaborate closely with nursing, medical, and allied health professionals to achieve the best outcomes for clients, their families, and carers. Coordination with internal hospital teams and external community service providers is also a key aspect of this role.

About you
- Tertiary qualification (Bachelor/Masters) in Physiotherapy
- Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current Victorian Driver's licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
