    About the Role

    A great ongoing full-time opportunity exists for a District Support Officer to join District 6, a positive, supportive and close-knit team based in Colac. You will ensure the District / Regional office is managed in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring appropriate prioritisation of tasks.

    Key responsibilities of this varied role will involve:

    • Provision of administrative support
    • Manage the delivery of projects
    • Preparation of documents that may include letters, memos, presentations, reports, minutes and briefing notes
    • Minute taking, diary management and meeting coordination
    • Provide support at meetings including, organising and scheduling, agenda preparation, venue and catering requirements
    • Data entry
    • Records administration
    • Database and systems coordination
    • Customer service both internally and externally
    • General office support
    • On occasion be prepared to participate in Incident Management support roles appropriate to experience and qualifications

    About You

    Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

    • Demonstrated relevant years of experience in administration or business support within a large, complex organisation
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong and cooperative relationship with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
    • Superior organisational and time-management skills with an ability to manage and coordinate a range of office functions and projects, often complex in nature
    • Ability to work proactively, with minimal supervision and direction
    • Ability to work as a member of a team and support others where required
    • Ability to source and interpret information to develop professional documents and reports
    • Exceptional computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office
