Central Highlands Rural Health (CHRH) is seeking an experienced and community-minded individual with CPA certification to join our Audit and Risk Committee as an independent member. The Audit and Risk Committee provides independent oversight of CHRH's financial reporting, risk management, internal controls and compliance processes. It plays a key role in ensuring strong governance across the organisation.

What's involved

  • Attend four scheduled meetings each year (90 minutes each), with pre-reading required
  • Hybrid format - face-to-face preferred, virtual attendance available
  • Paid for meeting attendance

Essential Criteria

  • CPA qualification (mandatory)

Highly-Regarded Criteria

  • Interest or experience in auditing, strategic risk management, governance, law and/or business
  • Compliance and reporting experience within a health organisation or sector (desirable)
  • Reside or work in the local community of Macedon Ranges Shire or Hepburn Shire (desirable)
