The Camperdown Campus hospital comprises of a total 63 beds (25 acute, 36 aged care and 2 bed urgent care centre), birthing suites/midwifery services, palliative care services, one operating theatre, radiology and pathology services and district nursing services. Also within Camperdown is the South West Healthcare’s Manifold Place Community Health, David Newman Day Centre and the Camperdown Mental Health Service.

South West Healthcare (SWH) Camperdown campus is currently seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and reliable individual to join our team in an administrative role. Based at Camperdown Hospital, this casual position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment, while developing your skills and taking on new challenges in a supportive and professional team setting.

This is an ideal role for someone who is organised, adaptable, and passionate about providing high-quality administrative support in a healthcare setting.

Position overview

  • Employment Type: Casual Position

  • Classification: Administrative Worker Grade 1
  • Salary Range: $36.97 per hour up to $40.87 per, plus superannuation

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, providing comprehensive support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrated experience in financial data entry and management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with initiative in handling inquiries
  • Well-developed time management and organisational abilities
  • Capacity to meet deadlines and perform effectively under pressure
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and apply flexibility and problem-solving skills
