About the role

South West Healthcare is seeking skilled and qualified Instrument Technicians to join our perioperative service. You will be part of a highly capable team that works collaboratively with various clinical services to deliver safe, high-quality care and positive outcomes for patients and their families in a supportive and caring environment.

Position overview

  • Employment Type: Part-time (64 hours per fortnight), Fixed Term Parental Leave position until December 2026
  • Location: Warrnambool Campus
  • Classification: Instrument Technician Grade 2 or Grade 3
  • Salary Range: $65,754.00 - $71,141.20 pro rata, plus superannuation

What you bring

  • Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services (HLT47015) or equivalent qualification from a registered training organisation
  • Certificate of Management or willingness to undertake studies
  • Greater than 12 months experience as an Instrument Technician (Grade 4 requires 3+ years full-time equivalent experience)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
  • Professional presentation and strong communication skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, customer-focused service
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Demonstrated capacity to role model South West Healthcare values
