What you will be doing
Reporting directly to Senior Recruitment Advisor, this role is an essential part of the team, supporting our Advisors and Hiring Managers with the end-to-end recruitment process. This is a newly formed team that are doing great things, and we want someone equally great to join us as we gear up for 2026! As a team we're committed to excellent service and continuous improvement and so, this role contributes to that by taking on the following key responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for internal staff and stakeholders, providing support on People related enquiries including recruitment, systems, processes, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with Recruitment Advisors and People Advisors to deliver a smooth end-to-end recruitment experience.
- Support Hiring Managers with recruitment and onboarding administration, ensuring a seamless process.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including preparing employment contracts, conducting pre-employment checks, scheduling onboarding sessions, and assisting with induction administration.
What you will bring to the role
Alongside your can-do approach to the work you'll have a keen eye for detail and amazing administration skills. It's likely you enjoy a fast pace and love getting things ticked off your to-do list along the way. You like being the central point for a fun and dynamic team and know how to prioritise.
With this in mind, high level, we're expecting you to have:
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high-quality administrative support, especially in a human resources team or similar setting
- Proven capacity to work under limited supervision and direction within tight deadlines
- High level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced business environment
- Commitment to the VEC's core values
