About Us
The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.
About the role
As a Salesforce Developer, you will play an important role in designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions within our Salesforce ecosystem. Drawing on your solid experience in Salesforce development, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with Product, Service Delivery Management, and Business Analysts to clarify requirements
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable Salesforce components.
- Conduct thorough unit testing of developed features.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions aligned to business needs.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing Salesforce solutions, with a sound understanding of development best practices.
- Demonstrated competency in applying development and testing standards to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving skills – able to contribute to the design of effective and scalable solutions.
