Health Care Worker – Casual

Maryborough District Health Service offers a comprehensive range of services to our community and as a result has a number of opportunities available for Health Care Workers. 

Currently we are seeking applications from Health Care Workers for our casual bank, to have the ability to work in our Aged Care Sectors, and Social Support Group.

To be eligible to join our casual bank you will need:

  • to be suitably qualified as per the Position Description
  • have professional communication skills
  • strong commitment to high quality patient care
  • demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • knowledge of the Montessori Model of Care
  • Basic Life Support Certificate

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

KSC1 - Demonstrate the ability to undertake appropriate care that meets the individual needs of the resident and relatives.

KSC2 - Demonstrate an ability to develop and review Resident Care Plans.

KSC3 - Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, carers, staff and others.

KSC4 - Well developed written skills.

KSC5 - Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.
