Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant

Permanent Part Time or Full Time – up to 80 hours per fortnight

Classification: Allied Health Assistant TC1- TC2 (depending on experience)

Award: Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020 and subsequent agreements.

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential

KSC1 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or equivalent)

KSC3 Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, carers, staff and others.

KSC4 Knowledge of the Montessori philosophy or equivalent resident-centred care program and how this changes the provision of care to residents.

KSC5 Ability to utilise computer software, particularly use of the Microsoft Office© suite.

KSC6 Demonstrate an ability to develop and review Resident Care Plans.

KSC7 Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.
