Salary range: $90,784-$103,004 per annum plus statutory superannuation

 

About the role

 

The ICT Support Specialist provides efficient and effective high-level technical support to the Business Systems team and VIT as a whole. This includes implementing change plans related to ICT projects across the organisation, and supporting the development and ongoing monitoring of initiatives to strengthen VIT's information security posture within the regulator standards and environment.

 

The role supports the implementation and ongoing management of VIT's asset lifecycle, including provisioning, maintenance, and decommissioning of end‑user devices and related technologies.

About you

 

As an experienced ICT support technician, you will have a strong background in computer science and network security/cybersecurity. 

 

You will have experience in providing desktop and operational support in a Microsoft and/or Salesforce environment, and in IT asset lifecycle management.

 

You will have strong technical knowledge with a highly organised approach and a proven track record in working collaboratively.

 

In addition to this, as the successful candidate, you will demonstrate:

  • Excellent customer service in a continuous improvement model.
  • Leadership in change initiatives.
  • Outcomes thinking with work linked to strategic objectives.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing business priorities.
  • Experience working in a regulatory environment or the Victorian Public Sector.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
