Position Details
Working with operational, policy and strategy staff, the Senior Project Officer will support the implementation of updates to operational and administrative processes, templates and procedures to reflect changes in the Reportable Conduct Scheme (the Scheme).
The Scheme seeks to improve how organisations identify and respond to allegations of child abuse and misconduct. Reporting to the Director Reportable Conduct Scheme, and collaborating with Managers in the branch, the Senior Project Officer supports operational business process and continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role you will:
- Develop operational policies, procedures and business process changes for teams.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
- Undertake effective analysis, interpret legislation and policy, and develop operational frameworks
- Prepare complex reports that assist with the monitoring of operations.
- Work closely and collaborate with staff from across the organisation, as well as external stakeholders
As our ideal candidate, you will:
- Possess sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have well developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to manage a range of competing priorities and work independently and as part of a team.
- Have experience in a regulatory environment and/or in an organisation or area related to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Be empathetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment
