What you will be doing
Reporting directly to Director, Program Delivery, the Manager, Program Governance plays a key leadership role in strengthening governance capability across election programs. The role ensures governance frameworks, processes and supporting artefacts are effective, consistent and aligned to organisational expectations. As a member of the Event Strategy and Delivery Branch Leadership Team, the position works closely with senior leaders and program managers to promote cohesion, collaboration and continuous improvement in the delivery of State, local government and fee-for-service elections.

This role will be responsible for:
• Leading governance across the VEC's election programs and our governance team, ensuring high quality, compliant and consistent delivery
• Support our election governance frameworks, including reporting, scheduling and tracking our progress
• Provide expert advice on complex issues, identifying risks, policy implications and emerging trends
• Lead a small group of diverse projects to support our election delivery
• Act as a strategic liaison for program governance, engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders
