    • Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3: $100,932.00 - $112,091.20
    • Occupational Therapist Grade 2: $88,030.80 - $101,197.20
    • Social Worker Grade 2: $88,030.80 - $101,197.20
    • Psychologist Grade 2: $94,478.80 - $106,906.80

** Provisional Psychologists completing a 5+1 internship are encouraged to apply - You will be supported with a structured internship program, including regular individual and group supervision and one dedicated day per week for professional development, case report writing, and logbook completion

About the Role

South West Healthcare is inviting passionate and dedicated Mental Health Clinicians to join our Hospital Outreach Post-Suicidal Engagement (HOPE) team. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals experiencing acute suicidal distress or recovering from a suicide attempt.

The HOPE program offers specialised, evidence-based mental health support to individuals aged 16 and over. Over a three‑month engagement period, the team provides tailored biological, psychological, and social interventions, focusing on recovery and person-centred care.

Some work is undertaken outside standard business hours. Shifts are scheduled at least one month in advance, providing both flexibility and predictable planning.

What you will bring

  • A relevant qualification in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, or Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration (or AASW eligibility for Social Workers)
  • Demonstrated experience working within mental health clinical settings
  • Strong understanding of recovery-oriented practice and trauma-informed care
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills
  • Capacity to work effectively both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
