About the role

The Change Analyst works closely with the business to provide end-to-end change support across a range of strategic projects. This includes delivering communications, training, and engagement activities to enable successful adoption of new products, services, and process improvements.

You will also contribute to VMIA's broader mission by supporting risk management practices—identifying and escalating risks, following controls, and promoting accountability to help build a resilient organisation.


Key responsibilities

  • Assess organisational and stakeholder readiness for change and document impacts across people, processes, and systems
  • Develop and deliver tailored change management plans to support successful implementation and adoption
  • Create clear, engaging communications aligned with brand standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective stakeholder engagement
  • Identify training needs and develop supporting materials such as guides, FAQs, and instructional content
  • Design and deliver training sessions, including assessments to support knowledge transfer and capability uplift
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of change and training initiatives and recommend improvements
  • Identify, escalate, and manage risks while ensuring compliance with organisational policies
  • Contribute to a safe, respectful, and high-performing workplace culture
  • Participate in performance, development, and capability-building activities
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Qualification (or equivalent experience) in change management, learning and development, communications, service design, organisational behaviour, marketing, or business
  • Experience supporting project delivery in a change or project environment
  • Proven experience developing training materials and capability programs (e.g. workshops, guides, videos, or digital tools)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Experience in government or insurance environments is desirable
