Position Details

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing candidate to join a team that is committed to:

  • the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
  • contributing to continuous improvement in the way systems respond to the needs of those children and young people.

Reporting to a Team Leader, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, this role is critical in supporting the Commission's system oversight role. It will focus on supporting the delivery of systemic inquiries.

This work involves collecting information and data, including through interviews and other methodologies, conducting analysis of policies, legislation, service provision and systems, developing options for reform, formulating recommendations, and writing clear, succinct and compelling reports. It also involves monitoring and reporting on the implementation of inquiry recommendations.

Strong project management skills, written communication skills and attention to detail are central to this position. Knowledge of and experience in inquiries methodology and stakeholder consultation will be beneficial.

  • Conduct systemic inquiries, as directed
  • Contribute to the production of high quality, impactful and timely inquiry reports
  • Contribute to ongoing business improvement and process refinement
