At South West Healthcare (SWH), our 22-bed Acute Care Unit plays a vital role in supporting patients with complex surgical and medical needs. As the primary referral unit for patients transitioning from ICU, our team of skilled Registered Nurses works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality care for patients and their families.

We're seeking dedicated professionals who thrive in fast-paced settings and are committed to continuous learning and excellence in patient outcomes.

Position overview

  • Employment Type: Ongoing, full-time (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO.

Part-time applicants are welcome, please indicate your preferred hours in your application.

  • Location: Warrnambool Campus
  • Classification: Registered Nurse Grade 2
  • Salary Range: $81,733.60 - $103,152.40 per annum (pro rata), plus superannuation and applicable penalties

What you bring

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • At least 6 months of recent experience in an acute medical or surgical setting, supported by a minimum of 4 years of overall clinical experience
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism

  • Strong communication and management skills
