Position Details
Director, Strategy and National Reform
- Lead key intergovernmental work in the Skills and TAFE portfolio, including with respect to the National Skills Agreement
- Lead high impact strategic reform to the Victorian Skills and TAFE system
- Senior Executive Service Level 1 (SES-1), Fixed Term up to Five (5) Years
The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR) is seeking to appoint a Director, Strategy and National Reform to provide leadership and authoritative advice on the Skills and Employment Strategy and the National VET system reform.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Policy and Strategy in the Policy and Strategy branch (PSB), this is a pivotal leadership position responsible for leading on strategic intergovernmental policy work across the Victorian Government, including negotiation of the National Skills Agreements (NSA).
The successful candidate will be an accomplished leader with a strong understanding of Victoria's skills and training sector, including Vocational Education and Training (VET) and the higher education sector.
