About the role

South West Healthcare is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary Chronic Pain team in this part-time opportunity.

Working within a well-established and highly regarded service, you will deliver specialist care within our Chronic Pain multidisciplinary team.

As a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist working in Chronic Pain, you will:

  • Deliver specialist assessment and treatment for individuals experiencing persistent pain.
  • Provide individual and group based care across a broad range of musculoskeletal, rheumatological, chronic conditions, and chronic pain presentations.
  • Facilitate education programs in both admitted and community settings.
  • Work collaboratively within the Chronic Pain Clinic and broader Physiotherapy/Exercise Physiology Department to deliver evidence based, high quality care.
  • Contribute to service development, education, mentoring, and quality improvement initiatives.

What you bring

  • Current registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience working with clients with complex health conditions and persistent pain. 
  • Effective communication and a client-centred approach.
  • Experience in education, mentoring, and quality improvement.
  • A commitment to best practice and the ability to drive positive change.
