         Flexible part-time and casual hours are available. Please tell us your preferred hours and availability when applying.

  • Location: Camperdown Campus (Including Leura Aged Care - Sugar Loaf Café)
  • Classification: Food and Domestic Assistant Grade 2
  • Salary Range: $53,508 pro rata, plus super and applicable penalties

About the Role:

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking friendly and motivated Catering Services Assistants to join our Food Services team at the Camperdown Campus, with a key focus on the beautiful new Sugar Loaf Café located within Leura Aged Care. Leura Aged Care | South West Healthcare

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a welcoming café environment while also supporting meal services across our hospital and aged care facilities. You will be part of a supportive, fast paced team that plays an important role in providing quality food, service and care to patients, residents and visitors.

This position offers ongoing part time and casual employment opportunities, providing flexibility within a stable and supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the Sugar Loaf Café, including serving customers and providing food and beverage service
  • Assisting with meal delivery and collection for patients and residents
  • Supporting food trolley transport and ward stocking
  • Preparing items for meal trays (fruit, milk, cutlery, etc.)
  • Cleaning and maintaining café, kitchen and service areas
  • Ensuring all customer and patient areas are clean, safe and welcoming
  • Supporting stock and equipment management

What you will bring

  • Availability and flexibility to work a range of shifts
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • A positive, friendly and customer-focused attitude
  • Basic food safety training (HLTFSE001 or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
