What you will be doing

Reporting directly to Senior Manager, Investigations, this role will be responsible for:

• Leading, mentoring, and motivating teams in delivering high quality services in a compliance and time-critical environment,
• Preparing briefs, reports, correspondence, and recommendations on complex issues,
• Establishing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships to achieve optimal outcomes, and
• Leading simultaneous projects, working autonomously with limited guidance, and managing competing priorities that involve inflexible timelines.

What you will bring to the role

• Demonstrated experience in the investigations field, including interpreting and applying legislation in complex investigation settings
• High-level verbal and written communication skills
• A commitment to leading and mentoring a team
• Commitment to the VEC's core vales
