Role description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paediatrician to join our Community Services Paediatric Clinic at Dhelkaya Health.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality, child- and family-centred care, supporting children's health, growth, development, and behaviour. You will provide comprehensive paediatric services, including diagnostic assessments, prescribing and monitoring medications, and contributing to multidisciplinary autism spectrum disorder (ASD) assessments.
Working as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, you will play a key role in care planning, case review, and ensuring safe, effective outcomes for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering comprehensive paediatric clinical care
- Conducting diagnostic assessments and managing treatment plans
- Participating in ASD team assessments
- Supporting children's development, behaviour, and family wellbeing
- Contributing to case reviews and collaborative care planning
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Providing clinical input into service development, policies, and procedures
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives
About you
Essential
- Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatrics & Child Health Division)
- Solid experience in working in developmental and behavioural paediatrics
- Provider number with Medicare to bill for clinical activity
- Current Medical Indemnity Insurance
