About the role
South West Healthcare is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Recruitment and Onboarding Compliance Officer to join our Medical Workforce team for a 6-month fixed term position.
In this critical role, you will provide essential support to the Medical Recruitment team. Your main focus will be ensuring compliance, onboarding, and credentialing compliance required by our medical staff to practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Credentialing & Re-Credentialing: Execute end-to-end credentialing and routine re-credentialing cycles for all tiers of medical staff within the Equifax platform.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate, real-time compliance information and files.
- Workforce Onboarding: Coordinate compliance checklists for permanent and locum doctors to ensure seamless hospital deployment.
- Risk & Compliance: Review clinical registrations and mandatory documents.
- Team Collaboration: Partner closely with the broader Medical Recruitment team to streamline recruitment pipelines and close staffing gaps.
What you bring
- System Proficiency: Proven experience working with compliance databases (experience with the Equifax platform or eCredential is highly regarded).
- Meticulous Eye for Detail: Exceptional data entry skills and a commitment to maintaining flawless records.
- Healthcare Understanding: Knowledge of medical credentialing, AHPRA standards, or health sector recruitment compliance is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Ability to liaise professionally with medical officers, locum agencies, and internal clinical directors.
