Salary per hour: $30.75 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options

Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 16 hours per fortnight

Role description

As an Administration Worker, you will provide effective and efficient administrative support across a range of health service areas. You will be the first point of contact for patients, residents, visitors, staff, and community members, creating a welcoming and professional experience for everyone who interacts with our organisation.

This diverse role includes reception duties, appointment scheduling, records management, data entry, financial administration, correspondence management, and general office support. Your contribution will help ensure the smooth operation of our services and support the delivery of safe, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at reception and via telephone and email.
• Manage appointments, enquiries, and communications in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records and data in accordance with privacy and legislative requirements.
• Undertake data entry, filing, records management, and document preparation.
• Support finance and administrative processes as required.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff across the organisation.
• Ensure administrative activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuous service excellence.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Previous experience in an administrative or reception role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• A commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and customer service excellence.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
