About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our growing Surgical Services Unit. Our unit provides care across a broad range of elective and emergency specialties, including Orthopaedics, Plastics, Urology, Vascular and General Surgery. You will work alongside a skilled, supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care throughout the surgical journey.

This role offers excellent variety, strong clinical exposure and the opportunity to further develop your surgical nursing skills in a well-supported and dynamic environment. Ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced setting, this permanent part-time position provides both professional growth and long-term career stability.

What you bring

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of 12 months relevant experience, ideally in a surgical setting
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centred care, confidentiality, and safe clinical practice
  • Bring excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills
  • Show a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
