• Employment Type: The 2 Core General Paediatrics (Advanced Training) positions are 6-month training terms:
• full-time APT/Paediatric Registrar position, and
• full-time or part-time APT/Paediatric Registrar position, with some flexibility around commencement and EFT for the right candidate.
• Commencing 1 February 2027
• Location: Warrnambool Campus
• Classification: Commensurate with Experience

About the role

South West Healthcare is seeking Advanced Training Paediatric Registrars to join our supportive and dynamic team in Warrnambool. The positions provide broad clinical exposure across general paediatrics and neonatology in a well-resourced rural setting. The unit is staffed by four full-time paediatricians committed to high-quality education, supervision, and mentorship.

The position includes:

• A 10-bed general paediatric ward and 6-bed Special Care Nursery
• Weekly outpatient clinics and regular exposure to behavioural, developmental, and diabetes cases
• Onsite CAMHS support and structured consultant-led teaching

• Holds a current Registration Certificate of the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia.
