About the Role
An exciting, permanent Administration Support Officer role is currently available within our dynamic Medical Response team. This role plays an important part in the delivery of critical programs, including Fire Medical Response, Statewide Defibrillators and Health Monitoring and Rehabilitation, by providing high-quality administrative support to staff and volunteers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating meetings, travel, training activities and team communications
- Preparing correspondence, reports, presentations and meeting documentation
- Maintaining records, databases and program information systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
- Supporting procurement and financial processes, including purchase orders and invoice processing
- Assisting with logistics, equipment management and the delivery of training, workshops and program events
- Providing responsive support to CFA staff, volunteers and other stakeholders

About you
You are an organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a busy and collaborative environment. With strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills, you can effectively manage competing priorities while delivering exceptional service to a diverse range of stakeholders.
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, volunteers and external partners. Your strong systems skills and commitment to accuracy will enable you to effectively manage records, prepare professional documentation and coordinate administrative and financial activities.
The successful applicant will demonstrate experience in administration, meeting coordination and records management, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience working with financial systems, procurement processes or SAP will be highly regarded. Most importantly, you will bring a customer-focused approach, strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to contributing to programs that enhance the safety and wellbeing of CFA members.
