  • Working within Injury Management and Workcover Unit, Health Safety and Deployment Division, Human Resource Department located at Victoria Police Centre, 637 Flinders Street Docklands 3008 *

Our aim is to ensure the fair and effective management of claims as well as early, safe and sustainable return to work of injured employees is achieved by working in partnership with others in the Victoria Police Human Resources Department, line managers/supervisors and our workers' compensation Authorised Agent.

We are looking for someone who is highly experienced in all aspects of injury management and workers' compensation claims management and who has an innovative, strategic approach to the leadership of a state-wide team of injury and claims professionals.

Call on your ability to meet challenges, lead and develop others and identify and recommend improvements in processes all while meeting customer and client needs with flexibility and delivering on the organisations injury management and safety goals.

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant health related or tertiary qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in the development, delivery and continuous improvement of Injury & Claims Management programs within a complex workers' compensation environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team of professional staff.

Requirements and relevant information:

  • The successful applicant will be required to travel regularly around the state and must have a current drivers' licence.

* Your usual place of work will be within Health Safety and Deployment Division; however you may be required to work at any other division within Human Resource Department as required.
