Position Details

  • VPSG3 range $65,713 - $79,790 p.a + super + leave loading
  • One (1) full time, ongoing position available
  • Working within the Forms Management Unit, Policy and Legislation Division, Capability Department located at Victoria Police Centre, 637 Flinders Street, Docklands.

About the role:

The Forms Officer is responsible for the design, development and coordination of Victoria Police Corporate forms using design software compatible with Victoria Police systems, as well as other administrative duties within the Division as required.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Develop electronic forms in line with InfoPath and Word design standards and Victoria Police Style Guides
  • Maintain version control of all forms using relevant databases
  • Provide assistance to Victoria Police members with form functional and technical issues.
  • Liaise with customers and stakeholders to provide advice on form design and development.
  • Prepare reports, briefing papers and correspondence on form issues.
  • Perform administrative duties within Corporate Policy and Forms as required.

As the successful applicant you will have:

  • Experience in the use of design software
  • An understanding of programme language for electronic form development
  • A knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and its advanced functions
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Requirements and relevant information:

  • The successful candidate may be required to undergo and successfully obtain and maintain a National Security Clearance to the level determined by the Department Head. To obtain this clearance applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
  • The incumbent will be required to complete the OHS requirements of the organisation, which may include local level training relating to equipment usage and Hazardous Chemicals.
