Working in a small team in the Workforce Reporting and Analysis Branch, HRD Programs Division, Human Resource Department, this role will see you assist with provide monthly reporting, ad hoc reporting, advice and consultancy services to Victoria Police and external stakeholders on human resource metrics, capacity issues and polices.

Position Details

  • 0.8 FTE part time position available


Some of your duties will include:

  • Assisting with and producing monthly human resource reporting from SAP data
  • Attending to ad-hoc reporting requests with the ability to analyse data and provide effective reports
  • Assisting in the development, planning and provision of timely workforce statistics to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertake a range of administrative functions including the publication and maintenance of regular HR corporate statistical reports and maintenance and management of various HR systems and databases


As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, develop and provide timely statistics and ability to analyse statistical data identifying trends and issues for senior management and a wide range of internal and external customers
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills including the ability to deal effectively with a wide range of personnel including senior managers
  • Sound knowledge and experience in the use of maintenance and interrogation of HR Assist (SAP) data and Microsoft Access and Excel databases


Requirements and relevant information:

  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
  • The incumbent will be required to complete the OHS requirements of the organisation, which may include local level training relating to equipment usage and Hazardous Chemicals.
