Position Details

  • VPSG2 range $49,216 - $63,201p.a. + super + leave loading
  • One (1) full time ongoing position available
  • One (1) full time fixed term until 30/12/2020 positions available  
  • Working within the Property Division, Operational Infrastructure Department located at the Victoria Police Centre, 637 Flinders Street, Docklands*


About the role:

As the successful applicant, the Administrative Support Officer will manage the provision of maintenance and operations activities at Victoria Police facilities throughout the Region.


Some of your duties will include:

  • Ensure safety is maintained
  • Customer contact point for regional staff
  • Assist in the contract management for scheduled works undertaken in the region.
  • Raise Work Orders.
  • Receive record and distribute mail and correspondence.
  • Undertake general administration and document management; and
  • Undertake various administrative tasks.


As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Excellent customer service management skills
  • Great interpersonal skills to effectively engage with key stakeholders and work well within a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of maintenance in a the built environment
  • Demonstrated initiative, problem solving and proactive work practices; and
  • Good skills in MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)


Requirements and relevant information:

  • The incumbent will be required to complete the OHS requirements of the organisation, which may include local level training relating to equipment usage and Hazardous Chemicals.
  • Possess a current Victorian Driver Licence and hold, or qualify within three (3) months, a White Class Driver Authority.

*Your usual place of work will be within the Property Division, Operational Infrastructure Department, however you may be required to work at any other division within the Operational Infrastructure Department as required.
