Position Details

  • VPSG2 range $50,077 - $64,307 p.a. + super + leave loading.
  • One (1) full time, ongoing position available.
  • Working within the Road Policing Operations and Investigation Division, Road Policing Command located at the Dawson Street Police Centre, Dawson Street, Brunswick 3056.*

About the role:

This position will provide administrative support to the Road Policing Drug and Alcohol Section and is primarily involved with the administrative processing and case management support of forensic samples taken in relation to drink and drug driving.


Some of your duties will include:

  • Reporting to the Unit Manager
  • Receiving, administering and transporting blood and oral fluid forensic samples
  • Processing the daily returns and reports from the Section's operational units
  • Capturing statistical data and case management information and notes
  • Supporting the logistics and distribution of alcohol and drug testing consumables

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and with minimal supervision
  • A current Victorian drivers licence

Requirements and relevant information:

*Your usual place of work will be within the Road Policing Operations and Investigation Division, Road Policing Command, however you may be required to work at any other division within the Road Policing Command as required.
