Position Details

  • VPSG-2 range $49,216 - $63,201 p.a. + super + leave loading
  • One (1) full time fixed term (until 27/02/18) position available
  • Working within the Health, Safety and Deployment Division, Human Resource Department located at the Victoria Police Centre, 637 Flinders Street, Docklands 3008*

 

About the role:

As the successful applicant, you will provide executive support to the Unit Manager as well as performing a range of administrative support duties pivotal to the success of improving Health and Safety within Victoria Police.  

Some of your duties will include:

  • Maintain accurate file recording and movement.
  • Telephone enquiries.
  • Co-ordinate and facilitate meetings.
  • Minute taking.
  • General office administrative duties.

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in performing a range of administrative support duties.
  • Appropriate word processing and computer skills.
  • Good organisational and problem solving skills.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with both internal and external key stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated ability to function within a team environment and deal appropriately with sensitive and highly confidential information.

 Requirements and relevant information:

*Your usual place of work will be within the Health, Safety and Deployment Division, Human Resource Department, however you may be required to work at any other division within the Department as required.
