Position Details

Senior Forensic Accountant

  • VPSG6 salary $116, 863 to $156,387 + superannuation and leave loading
  • Ongoing position
  • Be a key contributor in building a safer Victoria
  • Working within the Finance and Cyber Crime Division, located at 313 Spencer Street, Docklands, VIC*

An opportunity exists for an accountant or auditor with extensive experience in forensic accounting, financial analysis and giving evidence in court.

The role:

As a member of Specialist Resources at Victoria Police, your ability to provide forensic accounting services will see you as a key contributor in building a safer Victoria. The position reports to the Manager Specialist Resources.

Skill & Experience:

As the successful applicant, you will have

  • Extensive corporate and financial accounting experience
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Report writing skills 
  • Knowledge of evidence presentation and Court procedures
  • CPA, CA or IPA qualified

Requirements and relevant information:

The successful applicant WILL be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, the applicant must be an Australian Citizen.

The usual place of work is 313 Spencer Street Docklands 3008. You may however be required to work at any other division within the Crime Command as required.
