Position Details

Your duties will include:

  • Maintaining asset management systems for various equipment used by Victoria Police, including the accurate recording of asset movements to Regions and/or Departments.
  • Undertaking the administration associated with maintenance scheduling of Victoria Police accountable equipment.
  • Participating in the periodical and/or adhoc stocktake of Victoria Police accountable equipment including liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Undertaking accountabilities associated with the manual handling and movement of accountable equipment in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act, the Firearms Act, and the Control of Weapons Act.
  • Working successfully and effectively, either independently or within a team environment.
  • Assisting in the preparation of logistics plans.


As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Knowledge or experience of recording maintenance activity and asset movement in an asset management system.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and remedy service gaps through the application of sound logistical solutions.
  • Proven ability to interact and establish working relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers and team members.


Requirements and relevant information:

  • Possess a current Victorian Driver Licence and hold, or qualify within three (3) months, a White Class Driver Authority is highly desirable.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
