  • Working within the BlueConnect Program, Information, Systems and Security Command located at the Victoria Police Centre, 637 Flinders Street, Docklands, 3008*

About the role

The Project Administrator will perform a pivotal role in providing support activities for the Body Worn Camera Project. The current program of work encompasses two large ICT projects that will have a large impact across Victoria Police and the community.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Participate in a range of project activities including the provision of advice, analysis and assessment of issues and the development of options using appropriate research techniques and methodologies.
  • Provide high level administrative support to the Project using knowledge of Victoria Police administrative policy and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including coordination of reference groups, user groups and contractors as required.
  • Perform a range of project tasks, including assisting in preparation of reports, project documentation and briefing notes. 
  • Assist in arranging and participate in meetings, preparation of agendas and minutes, diary and correspondence management.

Requirements and relevant information:

  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo and successfully obtain and maintain a National Security Clearance to the level determined by the Department Head. To obtain this clearance applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
  • The incumbent will be required to complete the OHS requirements of the organisation, which may include local level training relating to equipment usage and Hazardous Chemicals.

*Your usual place of work will be within the BlueConnect Program, Information, Systems and Security Command; however you may be required to work at any other division within the Information, Systems and Security Command as required.
