Position Details

  • VPSG-3 range $65,713 - $79,790 p.a. + super + leave loading pro rata
  • One (1) full time, fixed term position available until 28/06/19
  • Working within the BlueConnect Program, Information, Systems and Security Command located at the Victoria Police Centre, 637 Flinders Street, Docklands, 3008*

About the role
The BlueConnect Training Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Training Manager to manage training and administration activities. This role will responsible for supporting training schedule, communications, engagement and training activities.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Provide  administrative input into training strategies, plans and templates
  • Support the co-ordination of review and sign-off processes for engagement, communication and training activities
  • Support the maintenance of the detailed plans for stakeholder engagement forums (i.e. Project Advisory Groups, Project Working Groups, etc.)
  • Support the development and maintenance of Training Action Plan(s)
  • Support engagement of project resources to participate in engagement, communication and training activities
  • Develop meeting minutes and track actions for relevant stakeholder meetings

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in coordination and delivery in large complex environments with multiple stakeholders;
  • Well developed and skilled problem solving abilities;
  • Excellent organisational skills and have the ability to manage competing demands and changing priorities within stringent timelines and ability to forward plan
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal and consultation skills with a demonstrated capacity to work effectively and collaboratively in a team based environment;
  • Proven ability to monitor client and stakeholder satisfaction

Requirements and relevant information:

  • The successful candidate may be required to undergo and successfully obtain and maintain a National Security Clearance to the level determined by the Department Head. To obtain this clearance applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
  • The incumbent will be required to complete the OHS requirements of the organisation, which may include local level training relating to equipment usage and Hazardous Chemicals.
  • Possess a current Victorian Driver Licence and hold or qualify for a White Class Driver Authority within three (3) months.

*Your usual place of work will be within the BlueConnect Program, Information, Systems and Security Command; however you may be required to work at any other division within the Command as required.
