Position Details

This role will support the Office of the Deputy Secretary Corporate and Regulatory Services (CRS) in a fast paced and dynamic environment.  Candidates require the capacity to exercise sound judgment in response to sensitive and emerging issues. 

The position reports to the Executive Advisor to the Deputy Secretary CRS and works closely with the CRS Executive team and their staff.

Your duties will include:

  • Coordinating the timely delivery of a variety of briefs, papers and correspondence
  • Coordinating review and collating information requests and outputs
  • Assessing and providing advice on brief quality, correct endorsement etc
  • Assessing associated risks and issues
  • Liaising with stakeholders including CRS Executives and their staff; Command and Executive Command offices; Human Resources; Capability etc
  • General administrative support to the Executive Advisors and the Deputy Secretary

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
  • Proven ability to plan and organise work independently; and to produce high quality results
  • Proven ability engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Developed skill to identify risk and make sound judgements
  • Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic, team environment
