Business Support Officer/Coordinator

The Business Support Coordinator provides high level support through management of core HR and finance functions, conducting reviews and analysis on behalf of senior management, and supports the Unit through procurement and facility management. This position sits within the Family Violence Command, which drives the strategy and direction of Victoria Police’s response to family violence, sexual offences and child abuse. The Business Management Unit supports the Command across all units to ensure efficient and effective operation, including finance, HR, IT, procurement and office management.

Position Details

Some of your duties will include:

  • Provide high level business support to the Command through the administration of business planning, financial and reporting processes
  • Manage the HR functions of the Command including recruitment and organisational alignment
  • Assist with and/or undertake the development, implementation and oversight of projects
  • Conduct management reviews as directed, prepare reports, and proposals for the Command
  • Support the Business Management team in other functions as required

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Experience in management of finance and/or HR systems and processes
  • An ability to support system development and continuous improvement
  • Be self-motivated and work independently
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
