- Managing assigned portfolios across the team to ensure project objectives and key milestones are met.

- Preparing high level reports, analysis of papers and briefing notes for a range of stakeholders including Executive Command.

- Developing and maintaining positive working relationships, ongoing communication, consultation and negotiations with key internal and external stakeholders.

Position Details

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to and make a difference to policing the Public Transport System in Victoria, including the realisation of several key initiatives surrounding the deployment of Protective Services Officers and the strategic planning of the Transit Safety Division of Victoria Police.

Your duties will include:

  • Management of, and reporting on several major divisional projects impacting the division and Victoria Police as a whole including actions, decisions and risk registers.
  • Assisting with the implementation of significant organisational change management.
  • Developing and maintaining project documentation and data.
  • Co-ordinating working group meetings, producing agendas and meeting minutes.

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Well-developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals whilst undertaking competing priorities within defined timeframes whilst maintaining attention to detail.
  • Motivation with a willingness to continue your professional development.
  • A relevant tertiary or post graduate qualification in Project Management is highly desirable.

  • One (1) full time, fixed term (until 01/09/2018) position available.
