Position Details

Senior HR Establishment Consultant

One (1) full time, ongoing position available, working within the Records Services Division, Public Support Services Department located at the Victoria Police Centre, 637 Flinders St, Docklands 3008.

  • Support the Division's broad range of staff vacancies, recruitment and establishment management functions
  • Managing Divisional expressions of interest, enabling staff transfers and assisting the Division with staff movements
  • Contribute to the Division's plans; implement Human Resourcing (HR) practices to support key deliverables
  • Maintain the Division's HR records and identify trends
  • Provide on-going Divisional administrative HR support and document tracking for various issues
  • Represent and participate on behalf of the Division at organisational forums and projects as required
  • Support, lead, train and develop team members as required
  • Providing high level customer service to all stakeholders

Some of your duties will include:

  • Supporting the Division with vacancy management
  • Processing HR reports and requirements
  • Participating in recruitment
  • Maintaining HR records for the Division
  • Representing the Division on HR matters

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Proven experience in managing HR deliverables for a large team
  • High level organisational skills;
  • High level written and oral communication skills including an ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation;
  • Demonstrated ability to apply confidentiality to matters involving sensitive information;
  • Ability to work independently.

Requirements and relevant information:

  • VPSG3 range $67,866 - $82,404 p.a. + super + leave loading.
  • One (1) full time, ongoing position.
